As soon as school work was done this morning the boys dashed outside to play in the mud. It’s a cloudy day and it smells like rain. Jerome comes running back in to tell me “It smellses like Georgia out there!” 🙂
That’s the awesome lens we rented for the wedding on Sat. We have to take it back in the morning, so the boys and I played around with it today.
Here’s our day in pictures.
Ian fell asleep in my arms while I post-processed wedding pics this afternoon.
I took the boys out for another overalls and barn shot now that Ian can look at the camera.
Brown, Blue, and Green.
I love the mud on his feet. 🙂

If you’ve called my house recently you’ve probably talked to Jerome, he loves answering the phone!
“Look, Mommy! My John Deere!”
Seth is lying on the floor eating dried mango.
Jerome liked the pose, too.
Jerome took these pictures of me!
Our five year old.
I love the color of this shot! And we’re trying raw garlic for his warts. 🙂
It was a beautiful day.
After staying up until midnight Friday night because the storm kept the boys awake (Seth liked the lightning but the thunder made him cry, and Jerome liked the thunder but not the lightning…go figure) and then no nap with a late night Saturday, we were all moving pretty slowly this morning.
A couple weeks ago our new music director instituted singing a hymn of the blessing of the Word of God before the sermon. All last week I’ve had the song “Ancient Words” running through my head…we sang it this morning.
This afternoon we went to Sienna Milner’s first birthday party! I got to see Rissa, Juil, Lori, Cristal, and Dawn, and of course my Laura! It’s been literally years since I’ve seen some of them!
Peter cooked dinner for us tonight! He smoked a pork loin on the grill and we had the Altamerano’s, Turners, and Abby over, and we had enough to send home with the Jones’ as they got back tonight. We didn’t eat till 8:30, but the time hanging out together was awesome and the kids had a blast!
I had a mini photo shoot with Ian this afternoon for his four month birthday. I am so enjoying him. He is an easy baby and smiles so much! He loves watching his brothers and is thrilled when they talk to him. He is truly a delight!
This is such a baby Regina expression!
Ian is losing his hair and I love how his little bit on top is standing up here!
Oh, those blue eyes! ….and the drop of drool is typical these days.
