The boys are on the mend, Seth is eating a little more now and Ian and Jerome’s colds are on their way out. The daily routine is not quite back in hand, but we’re grateful to be together! Regina spent her evening with us Wednesday and helped me run errands. I hadn’t been out in a couple weeks and we were out of food and Tylenol! It was so nice to have her help and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my sister!

The boys have been very creative in their indoor playtime. Seth has taken to drawing on page after page of a pad of paper with very detailed scribbles that he sometimes sees thing in, and sometimes I can see them too! Jerome has been glad to spend a little time with his friends now that the quarantine is over. Here are a few snapshots from our week:

Ian’s first tangelo! I think he really did like it, although you can’t tell from his expression in this pic! He loves to “help” me fold laundry…but unfolding the stacks of clothes. Jerome put all of our dining room chairs in the middle of the room and spread a blanket over it to make his fort, then he invited Ian in with him, but it wasn’t exactly what Ian had in mind…I guess. Jerome drew, cut, and taped all of these accessories himself! Jerome found Seth’s Johnny Deere tractor toy out in the orchard today and brought it in while Seth was playing with his tinker toys. Seth immediately saw that what he had made by stacking all the wheels together on one rod made a perfect plow! Now to attatch it somehow….”Mommy!” After a few minutes of scrounging and twisting on my part…we came up with something that satisfied him. I love how Seth still giggles when he is very pleased like he did as a baby when he knew I was going to feed him. :-)

The weekend is finally here! I’m hoping to get a grip on this house before it complete swallows us up!

Neekers, like I told you the other evening, our evenings together are the highlight of my weeks! I enjoy every minute of it. Even if were scrubbing toilets it would still be the highlight 🙂 In fact…I can’t wait for WED! xoxoxox you are loved. Glad everyone’s starting to get better!
